Arija Paikule-Kimm was born in Riga.

She was graduated at the Estonian Institute of Arts.
Arija was a student of professor Ilmar Krimm.

Her paintings are exhibited in different galleries in Riga and Tallinn. There are over 600 paintings in private collections, most of which are in Europe and America.

Ilmar Kimm was born in Leningrad (St.Petersburg).

He studied at the Repin Institute of Academy of Art, (USSR).

Later he was teaching at the Estonian Institute of Arts. For 20 years Ilmar Krimm was professor and the head of painting studies at the same Institute.

He is the Honoured Art Worker and his paintings are exhibited in Estonian State Museum of Arts, Museum of Arts in Tartu, museums in Russian Federation and in some private collections.
